The hero will remain immobilized until it hits either 100 or 200 stress, or the Drowned Anchorman is slain. Additionally the Anchorman will transfer its buff to the Drowned Crew, and they will heal every turn as well.

The hero will still be able to take their turn normally, but they will be unable to move and will take stress damage during every action. After it uses "Heave to!", it will lock a hero in place. When summoned by the Drowned Crew it will have a buff that grants +50% to PROT, Bleed Resist and Blight Resist and +25% Stun Resist.
